You may or may not have heard about Alan Barnes. He’s a disabled pensioner who has been attacked in front of his home, he was mugged and he suffered a broken collarbone. His attacker pleaded guilty today. But more importantly there are hundreds of people who helped him and all together they raised more than £300,000 to help him.
